We're selling a service - turning your idea into a mobile or web application, lightning fast. We listen to all your requirements, we hear all your problems and then we set about solving them. I guess you could call us salesmen.
The difference with us, though, is we are also engineers. We aren't making glittery promises and then reporting back to a team of developers somewhere else in the world - we're standing at whiteboards for hours on end considering all the weird and wonderful scenarios that people using these products might encounter.
We've been pushing hard for the last few weeks to improve the marketing and sales behind our scrappy little upstart. We're working with our new marketing manager, Amelia, who has been following us with a camera taking videos and pictures of life at Bad Dinosaur. She's also been tweeting and instagramming what we've been up to.
And actually, we've been finding it really hard to communicate who we are and what we do. I know it sounds cliché, and you've probably heard this 100 times over, but we honestly believe our offering is unique. And finding a way to get that across to potential clients is almost impossible. There's hundreds of digital agencies, why us?
But this one picture Amelia took really caught my eye, and I feel it communicates exactly who we really are. We're engineers first and foremost, we care about the nuts and bolts of your application. We simply don't make promises to clients that we can't keep, because we know exactly what our technical abilities are. We don't need to check with the engineering team, because we ARE the engineers.
We're a delicate balance between customer service and engineering, and I think that's what is most appealing about our offering.
